Team Race Timer
About this tool
Unlike the Race Timer, this one isn't random — it's built for live team competitions where the students themselves decide who wins. Split the class into 2–6 teams, rename each lane to match your team names, and set how many correct answers (or points) it takes to reach the finish line.
It's built for the classroom quiz format most teachers already run: ask a question, the correct team clicks their GO button, and their racer inches toward the finish line. First team across wins, with a celebratory winner screen at the end. Keyboard shortcuts (number keys 1–6) let you run the whole thing hands-free from the front of the room, so you're not hunting for the right button mid-question.
Great for vocabulary quizzes, grammar drills, spelling competitions, or any activity where you want the energy of a race without leaving the outcome up to chance. Reset instantly between rounds, and rename teams on the fly by clicking directly on their name.
